Summary
Reclaim does not collect, store, sell, or share any personal data. Everything stays on your device.
What we don’t do
- We don’t have user accounts. You don’t sign up.
- We don’t use analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs.
- We don’t transmit your usage data, the apps you’ve chosen to shield, or your pause settings to any server.
- We don’t share data with third-party data brokers.
What stays on your device
- The list of apps you’ve chosen to shield.
- Your pause settings, goals, and preferences.
- Local notifications scheduled by the app.
This data is stored on-device using Apple’s standard secure storage (UserDefaults and App Groups). It is included in your iCloud device backups if you have iCloud Backup enabled, in which case Apple’s privacy policy applies to those backups.
Family Controls and Screen Time data
Reclaim uses Apple’s Family Controls framework. Per Apple’s rules and our own commitment, Reclaim does not transmit, share, or analyze any data received from this framework. It is used solely on your device to provide the shielding behavior you have configured.
Purchases
If you purchase Reclaim Plus, the transaction is processed by Apple via StoreKit. Apple’s privacy policy governs that transaction. Reclaim only receives a confirmation that you own the product — we never see payment information.
Children
Reclaim is for personal use by individuals managing their own device usage. It is not designed as a parental control product and is not directed at children under 13.
